My boss (one of them) popped into my office today, new 22” widescreen monitor (the photo really doesn’t do it justice) in hand, and asked, “Want a new monitor?”
I did, as it turns out.
Once the new monster monitor was fired up, I sent my boss a message by way of thanks:
“this is totally awesome. I feel like I could take over the world from here. if only I had a joystick.”
To which he replied:
“Please take over the world on your own time, unless you can bill for it.”
But then he came back in a few hours later with a wireless keyboard and mouse. So I think he must be rooting for me.
