Zammuto - Too Late to Topologize
Nick Zammuto has officially announced that The Books, one of my favorite bands of all time, is calling it quits. I really want to love his new project, Zammuto. What I’ve heard so far doesn’t have the magic of Thought for Food, The Lemon of Pink, or Lost and Safe. Maybe the collage thing just isn’t new and mysterious anymore, but these tracks feel more frantic and less well crafted. I’m holding out hope; this track is pretty good. But I’ll sincerely miss The Books.
