Heavy Cross is the first single from Gossip’s upcoming album, Music for Men, due to drop June 22. Rick Rubin’s production is pretty heavy here, but Beth Ditto will not be subdued. The guitar track may as well be Franz Ferdinand, but her vocals blow everything else away, so who cares. Sing it, sister.

GOSSIP is a band. We formed 8 years ago. We grew down in Arkansas. We were raised by cassette tapes, wild coyotes and mothers. We are interested in change, fashion, art, dancing + movies. We currently live in Portland, Oregon. We are always on tour. We are currently working on a new record. We only exist to inspire.
